Dragons and Dinosaurs

Dragons and Dinosaurs are loose at Monart -- this 3 day workshop is geared for students 5 and older - 12. We\'ll be drawing different kinds of Dragons and Dinosaurs. Usage of graphite, shading techniques, chalk pastels, markers and colored pencil will be used. Classes meet Monday-Wednesday 9:30-11:00a March 15-17. Tuition $65.00

Mini Cartooning

Basic construction techniques for cartooning. Learn to illustrate your own cartoon strip. Acrylic composition painting on acetate to complete a finished cell. Some favorite cartoon characters will be taught. This is a compressed version of our 12-week cartooning class. Appropriate for students 8-12. 1-4pm Monday-Friday March 15-19th. $200.00

Sponge Bob Attack!

Learn how to draw Sponge Bob, Squiwird, Patrick and many of the characters and scenes from Sponge Bob Cartoons. Appropriate for students 4-8 or any Sponge Bob fan. Class is one day - 3 hours. Younger students may want to bring a snack. Class meets Friday, March 19th from 9:00a-12:00p. $40.00.

Stained Glass for Adults

Lois is going to do teach some basic construction techniques in stained glass compositions using some of her extra stained glass. Lots of practice cutting glass, learning how to use the tools and what is needed to become a home hobbist in stained-glass will be included. Some supplies are included, but students may want to purchase their own gear. Supply list will be given. If this class is successful, we will look at adding a Saturday workshop together so that you can complete your own projects. Students will meet Friday-Saturday 9-12p March 19-20th. Bandaids may be needed for some! At this time we are only offering the class to adults 14 and older. Lois has been doing stained glass work for over 30 years. Tuition is $75.00. Must have at least 3 students in order for class to work.

Star Wars and Sci Fi

Yes, Star Wars illustration is back, but with a Sci-Fi twist. We will also look into the new world of Avatar and draw some of the unique characters from this world. Class is 2-hour Monday-Friday, March 15-19th from 1:00-3:00p. Bring a friend, dress in your favorite Star Wars gear and come have fun learning about this unique fantasy world. $150.00.
